4th of July Weekend is right around the corner.

Check out the Searsport Community Calendar for events including:

• "The Waterspout": An award-winning drama adapted from true stories of Searsport’s shipping history. This local high school production won first place at the Maine Drama Festival's Class B regionals. Come support our students on Wednesday, July 1st at 5:30PM at the Penobscot Marine Museum.
• An evening at Mosman Park with the Barney Hose Company grilling food, music by PEN BAY PAN (a steel drum band), and FIREWORKS on Friday, July 3rd.
• The Searsport 4th of July Parade. Why watch when you can BE IN THE PARADE?  This year's theme is "Happy Birthday, USA!"
• A Craft Fair on the Methodist Church grounds.
• Rowboat Races at the Hamilton Wharf following the parade from 12Noon until 2:30PM. Never rowed before? This is a great time to learn! KIDS WELCOME!!
• The Annual Variety Show on Saturday, July 4th at 3PM at Union Hall.
