Affordable Housing

MEETS AS NEEDED.

Mission:

  • Ensure the quality and affordability of housing for all Searsport citizens.
  • Monitor maintenance and management issues on Low to Moderate Income housing including all codes and lawful housing practices.
  • Work with contractors and or developers to review and or amend all aspects of new and proposed housing developments in Searsport prior to Planning Board review.
  • Assist citizens residing in affordable Low to Moderate Income Complexes with landlord-tenant issues whenever necessary and appropriate.
